Most of Alan’s working life has been in the building industry, painting his first house at 17. His commitment to always provide the very best service, a strong sense of professionalism and a determination to go beyond the clients expectation helped Alan to build a successful painting and renovation business.
Now, with that 35 years’ experience behind him Alan brings his extensive knowledge of the housing market to his new profession. From the advantages that various housing styles provide, to the many changes and refinements that will increase a property’s value when preparing a house for sale, Alan will always ensure you get the best price possible for your home.

Alan and his partner Leeann Bell moved to Kaitaia in 1996 to take up a teaching position at Kaitaia Primary School and as a midwife at Kaitaia Hospital respectively. They immediately fell in love with the community, the beaches and life style. Life took them to Wellington in 2000 but the delight of living in the Far North was always in their heart and minds and they returned with their three youngest children in 2010 and have not looked back.
